With-Profits Policy Holders Advocate
Pru With-Profits Policy Holders Advocate In March
2007, Prudential announced that it was considering a possible
"reattribution" of its "inherited estate".
In order to do this, Prudential were required to appoint
an independent Policyholder Advocate, whose main job is
to negotiate with Prudential to ensure a fair deal for policyholders
should the reattribution go ahead (although there is no
guarantee that it will). Peter Bloxham, a former top City
lawyer, has been nominated for the position of Policyholder
Advocate, and his nomination is likely to become a formal
appointment later this year, if Prudential decides to move
to the next stage in the process.
