Petra Diamonds is a diamond group focused on the exploration, mining and beneficiation of diamonds in Africa. Petra has four producing mines in South Africa, with the acquisition of two further mines from De Beers (Cullinan and Kimberley Underground) expected to complete mid 2008. Complementing the group’s rapidly growing production profile are world class exploration operations in both Angola and Botswana and an advanced exploration project in Sierra Leone.
