Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (CFCL) is a world leading, commercially focused solid oxide fuel cell company. Its technology is at an advanced stage, with pre-commercial field trial units of its mini home power stations, known as micro-combined heat and power (m-CHP) units, being tested by a number of utilities and other commercial partners. These systems can run on natural gas and generate both electricity and heat at a high rate of efficiency, with no noise and minimal carbon dioxide emissions. The company completed its secondary fundraising and dual listing on AIM on 2 March 2006.
